Responsibilities

Health Club Managers take charge of the operations of the health club/gym/spa and/or to assist the Health Club/Gym/Spa Directors in managing or running the operations. They will be required to promote service and packages to in-house guests/members/customers and provide customer service and handle customer reservations, enquiries and complaints. They need to provide detailed and clear information and safety instructions to users of facilities and equipment. They will post all sales transactions into the computer system and prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports.

Academic requirements

Professional Diploma/ Diploma or equivalent

Work experience

3 to 5 years' relevant working experience is preferable

Industry specific capabilities
Knowledge in swimming pool regulations
Chartered Institute of Environment Health (CIEH) , UK
Related education and training
Degree or above
MSc Sport Business Management
Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Sports and Recreation Management
BSc (Hons) Sport Business Management
BSc (Hons) Sport Coaching
Higher Diploma
Higher Diploma in Leisure Management
Higher Diploma in Sports Coaching

Diploma of Vocational Education (Fitness and Sports Studies)
