Responsibilities
Tourist Guides (Inbound) greet and accompany groups of tourists and others on sightseeing tours within a city, or to places of general interest and to monitor group members' activities to ensure compliance with safety practices. They will need to answer enquiries and handle complaints and to provide assistance as required including those with special needs, e.g. small children, elderly or disabled persons.
Basic qualification requirements
Academic requirements
Secondary 5/ HKDSE or above
Work experience
1 to 2 years' relevant working experience is preferable
Industry specific capabilities
Inbound Tourist Guides (Inbound) Accreditation System
Professional knowledge in Hong Kong
Related education and training
Degree or above
BSc (Hons) International Tourism Management
BA (Hons) International Hospitality and Tourism Management
Higher Diploma
Higher Diploma in Tourism and MICE
Higher Diploma in International Hospitality and Tourism Management
Diploma
Diploma in Tour Service and Travel Agency Operations (QF Level 3)
