Responsibilities
Customs & Excise Inspectors are mainly deployed on leading and participating in law enforcement activities relating to import and export of goods, revenue protection and collection, anti-narcotics, anti-smuggling and intellectual property rights protection. They assist the Senior Inspector in staff management and office administration, and supervise the work performed by members under his/ her charge. They are subject to discipline under the Customs and Excise Service Ordinance.
Basic qualification requirements
Academic requirements
A bachelor's degree; or a diploma/ higher diploma/ associate degree; or attained Level 3 or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE)

Customs and excise law-enforcement supervision ability
