2nd Officers (Maritime) perform deck duties as directed. They also take care of lifesaving appliance, firefight equipment and navigational equipment.
Basic qualification requirements
Academic requirements
A higher diploma in maritime studies or equivalent is usually required
Work experience
12 to 36 months sea-time experience
