Responsibilities
Veterinarians diagnose and treat diseases, disorders and injuries of animals. They may provide treatment and aftercare to a wide range of animals (some may specialise in the treatment of a particular animal group, or treatment in a particular specialty) . They are also responsible for performing surgery on animals, vaccinating against diseases, advising animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments, operating diagnostic equipment and interpreting the examination results, training or supervising staff who handle or care for animals.

Academic requirements
A bachelor's degree of veterinary science or a bachelor's degree of veterinary medicine and surgery.
