Responsibilities
Aircraft Maintenance Engineers plan, lead and supervise aircraft maintenance checks. They are responsible for identifying and rectifying problems and defects, analysing and interpreting technical procedures, schematic engineering diagrams, manuals and publications. They also approve authorisation holder for issuing Certificate of Release to Service for different types of aircraft. He/she should be the holder of Category A or B Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
Basic qualification requirements
Academic requirements
A higher diploma or degree, preferably in aircraft maintenance or engineering, or equivalent
Work experience
5 to 8 years of relevant work experience
