Responsibilities
Chemical Engineers apply the principles of chemistry, physics, and engineering to solve problems that involve the production or use of chemicals, and devise processes for manufacturing chemicals and products. They are also responsible for developing safety procedures for those working with potentially dangerous chemicals, evaluating equipment and processes to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and estimating production cost for management.

Academic requirements
Normally have a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. Holders of relevant higher diplomas can articulate to related degree programmes.
Work experience
4 to 6 years of relevant work experience
