Responsibilities

Sports, Recreation & Cultural Managers plan, organise and coordinate the operations of establishments that provide sporting, recreation and cultural services. They are also responsible for advising on the facilities available and promoting publicity in relation to events, shows and activities, handling related administration tasks such as establishing and managing budgets, and controlling expenditure, ensuring that facilities are kept clean and in good condition; and recruiting, training and supervising staff.

Basic qualification requirements
Academic requirements
A higher diploma, associate degree or bachelor's degree in sports, recreation, leisure management, or equivalent qualifications. Supervisory positions may require a master's degree in recreation management, business administration, or public administration.
Work experience
3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
