Responsibilities
Primary School Teachers prepare younger students for further education by teaching them a range of basic subjects at primary school level. They are also responsible for organising activities designed to promote physical, mental, and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, and storytelling.
Basic qualification requirements
Academic requirements
generally hold a certificate/ higher diploma in education for primary school teachers or a bachelor's degree of education from the Education University of Hong Kong (formerly known as Hong Kong Institute of Education), or hold a bachelor's degree in any subjects from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent
